Senator Felder was instrumental in securing funding to renovate Kelly Park into a unique, handicapped-accessible playground.
This groundbreaking park is designed to welcome and enchant children of all abilities and ages, providing a safe and engaging environment where every child can play, explore, and thrive. With features like adaptive play structures, sensory gardens, accessible pathways, and much more, it represents a transformative step toward inclusivity in our public spaces.
We would love to have representatives and individuals from the community come and share in this victory for individuals of all abilities.
This marks a significant milestone for NYC: the opening of Brooklyn’s first fully inclusive park-for-all-children (Kelly Park), made possible by an unprecedented $10 million grant from Senator Simcha Felder.
