EvoAutism Foundation, a New York nonprofit that changes how autism is understood through authentic stories and cultural experiences is hosting an Idea Generation Brunch for The People’s Money, the NYC Civic Engagement Commission’s participatory budgeting process, on Sunday, November 8, from 10:00 to 12:00 at Positive Exposure gallery, 83 Maiden Lane. Participants will propose improvements to city services and public spaces that can receive city funding, and the voices of Council families and self-advocates are exactly what this process needs.
